In January 2015 we took our first trip with Scott our Yacht Broker who showed us the "ropes" (ok they are lines on a boat) and took these pictures. The boat was located in Ft. Lauderdale as the previous owner had brought the boat down to Florida from Boston in December. These pictures are of our first training voyages on the New River that runs through Ft. Lauderdale. The boat's name (from the previous owner is "Miss Fortune"). References below to the ICW are the IntraCoastal Waterway which runs inland from Miami all the way up to Norfolk/Portsmouth Virginia.
This is BillFish Marina located on the New River approximately 7 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is where our boat stayed for the winter of 2014-2015. Our boat is the second from the right that is facing you with the dark hull
